Goal
Create a brand identity for a counseling practice built on the connection between mind and body, one that feels calming to a prospective client before they’ve said a word to anyone.

Finding the path

01 / TYPOGRAPHY
Reading the name should feel like an exhale. I searched for clean, soothing letterforms that read smoothly and quietly, so that the first impression of the practice is calm.
02 / SHAPE
I explored ideas around discovery, finding your path, and natural forms, looking for a symbol that could carry the client’s approach and not just decorate the name.

03 / COLOR
I drew on nature, blues and greens, to set a soothing, peaceful tone. The palette stays soft, with nothing that competes with the calm.

Results
Stone by stone
The final mark is a stack of cairns, the stones hikers use to mark a trail. They fit the practice in two ways:
The path
Cairns mean “you’re on the right way,” which mirrors what clients do in therapy: finding their own path within themselves.
The name
The stones are arranged to suggest the shape of a body, linking the symbol directly to “Mind Body.”
The thin, graceful typeface flows smoothly from letter to letter, and the soft green palette completes a quiet, balanced identity.
